In this two-hour workshop, by guest fibre artist Robyn Morris, you will learn the ancient art of twining with foraged and salvaged plant fibres, to weave a small handmade basket.
The class features a variety of locally sourced grasses with different colours and textures suitable to create your very own garlic basket or hanging planter, to take home.
During the class, they will chat about where to forage how to identify and prepare fibres ready for weaving. This class is a great way to explore ideas of sustainability, connect with the landscape and practise mindfulness while enjoying complimentary organic herbal tea.
As part of helping make a better quality of life for members of the local community, Merchant and Green are committed to reducing waste, encouraging sustainable living and mindfulness.
