The Icebergs pool has suffered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage from enormous swells that have been beating down on it over the last couple of days.
This water tank became dislodged from the pool and landed on the sand at the south end of the beach. In almost exactly the same spot as it did during the storm in June 2016.
The pool will be closed for at least a week. If we’re lucky.
