Belinda was on Notts Avenue on her way up to the bus from the pool when we came across her this morning.

The seas were very rough and so she had only managed 2.5kms in the baby pool. A walk in the park for tri-athlete Belinda.

Belinda who is originally from Mauritius came with her Australian husband to live here nine years ago. She lives in Gladesville but travels by bus/train/bus regularly to train. She is a lover of long distance running,“I would go out for a short run and end up doing 35 kilometres. I couldn’t help myself!” All that running started to take a toll so she switched disciplines to become a tri-athlete (we would have felt deserving of a switch to Netflix but each to his/her own).
