Michael, Bidjigal/Birribirrigal is a trip to spend time with. His brain is going very fast, all the time (or so it seems). He’s never boring.

“I wake, look towards the sky that in itself gives me the the choice of how I will spend my day. Sunny then it’s always going to be of to wadjid (Dharawal for beach) as we call it. On my way I always attend to the plants eg water them have a smell of them then of I go for my walk. I try to save as much time to engage with the people say hello and talk to. If it’s not a very good morning I’ll attend the ‘bergs for a swim and sauna and a yarn. Everything is based on community. That is my fix for the day. Kind of a special thing to wash away the yesterday.”
