Bondi stalwarts journalist/ author Rick and landscape artist Donna have lived in and around Bondi for a long time. You’ll see them at some point if you spend any time on the promenade.

Rick launched his book Life After Ted in May 2023. Donna has been exhibiting her whimsical landscapes almost annually since 2013. Look out for her next show.

“First hour in Bondi? Generally coffee at one of four cafes: Favoloso, Flowerman, Porch and Parlour or Tamarama Beach. (We are cafe flirts but faithful within that tight circle of promiscuity.) Then laps of Bondi Beach (walking, not swimming – we’re dippers but not dippy).”
